Thoughts

My friend Vicky mentioned in a Bible class once
that she kept a stack of index cards on which
she wrote verses/quotes she wanted
to remember and then read them during her
quiet time. I started that practice and it has
been very meaningful to me.
Here are some of that have meant a lot to me lately.

"He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me
because he delights in me."
Ps 18:19

"I could have no greater joy that to hear
that my children are following the truth."
3 John 4

"It is well, it is well, with my soul."

"I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him."
Ps 62:1

"But for you who revere my name, the sun of
righteousness will rise with healing in its wings."
Malachi 4:2

"I am not afraid of tomorrow for
I have seen yesterday and I love today."
quote sent from my mother

"If you hold on to me for dear life, says God,
I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the
best of care if you'll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I'll rescue you, then throw you a party. I'll
give you a long life, give you a long drink of
salvation."
Ps 91:14-16 (Message)
Sent to me by my neighbor Carmen

Hi Mrs. Gibson! I was glimpsing a bit of your past journey tonight and it is encouraging. :)
