One Year Old and ????? Years Old

Image
The two little guys in these pictures just turned ONE. The two older people, well let's just say they are a little older than one. Happy Birthday, Aaron and David!

Baby Seal Lives On

Image
When Caleb was about Aaron and David's age, we lived in Houston and Sweetie (my mom) was Caleb's cradle roll teacher. He absolutely LOVED this little seal who toddles around when you turn on the little button on his tummy. Of course, Sweetie immediately decided that Caleb should have the seal for his very own. Baby Seal, as we call him, still lives at the young Gibson's house and Aaron has discovered him. What fun! What joy! What great memories! Thanks Sweetie!

This Isn't Corny, It's Cute

Dinners at the Gibson house have taken on a whole new meaning since Baby David has moved in with us while his parents are looking for a home to buy. He had never had corn on the cob before. I should have taken an "after" picture. He pretty much cleaned all the corn off. One happy little boy! By the way, that's rice on his chest.

Budding Photographer

Kelly, Adrian and David moved to Colorado this week. There have been enjoyable times of unpacking the truck, sitting around and talking, and all that is involved with moving. Of course, my camera was out to document this momentous occasion and Caleb wanted to try it out. Here are his photographic efforts. It was interesting to see what a four year old found picture worthy. Nana's mantel. His new bear. I really like the play of light in this photo. As Caleb proudly announced, "I am a very good photographer." A modest one too. He took 5 pictures of the moving truck. True little boy--they like their wheels. Front porch scene. There were at least 20 pictures of Aunt Kelly and baby David. Aunt Kelly's shoe. His one year old brother and cousin. His hand! And last, but certainly not least, the ceiling fan!
