Almost Aspen Sighting Time

It's not quite time yet for all the Aspens to be in their full glory.
David and I took a drive to check them out, but will have to wait for some more cold weather for them to be in all their splendor. We'll keep you posted.

I'm not sure if I should thank my friend Mindy for letting me know that Kohl's is featuring Skippyjon Jones items in their stores, or whether I should send her the bill for the items I purchased. Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring. Anyone else sing that song as a child?
