Prayer for Skippyjon Jones

This is David!
Or little David as we sometimes
call him to differentiate him from
his grandfather.

David has alway loved to read!
I am so fortunate that all my grandchildren
love reading.  They have parents that
show them how much fun reading
can be.

Kelly called to report today that
before nap she read a book about Skippyjon Jones
to David who is also learning to pray.

In his prayer before naptime he said,
"Dear God, Please help Skippyjon Jones."

For my librarian and teacher friends who are
familiar with this delightful character,
you can understand completely.
For those of you who don't know
what I'm talking about, visit
your local library or book store
and enjoy
an adorable picture book.

I'm not sure if I should thank my friend Mindy for letting me know that Kohl's is featuring Skippyjon Jones items in their stores, or whether I should send her the bill for the items I purchased. Swing High, Swing Low

Jeremy made me swings for under the deck and his boys are already enjoying them. This is Aaron's smile face. Caleb's smile face. Wee!  This is fun! Learning to hold on tight. Don't you just love his shoes? This boy loves Sesame Street characters as much as his brother loves super heroes.   Since Sweetie is here visiting, she got to enjoy the swings too.
