Little Girls and a Boy

I don't often have the opportunity
to entertain little girls.
Last night our neighbor girls spent
the night and Caleb came for a sleepover
as well.

We had fun playing in the backyard,
eating pizza and popsicles,
reading books and laughing.

Carmen and Heath,
you have raised delightful
children.  Imagine my surprise
when I checked and they had even
made up their own bed this morning.

I'm not sure if I should thank my friend Mindy for letting me know that Kohl's is featuring Skippyjon Jones items in their stores, or whether I should send her the bill for the items I purchased. Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring.
