I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned
in elementary school.

Btw, we also sang the Texas state song and the state bird song, as I recall, all the while at attention sonext to our desks, facing the Texas flag standing next to the American flag. Funny how all those songs stuck with me all these years.
As a sidenote, along with all the homage paid to everything Texan, the Texas flag was at the same height as the USA flag... even at 9 years old, I got the picture. *wink* lol.
