What a great time I had last weekend
with Kelly and Adrian
helping them "nest" before
Little One arrives.
Does it surprise anyone that this baby will have
lots of books in his/her nursery?
What a sweet little mama!
Shower Day!
Kelly and her friend Rene are due
just a few weeks apart!
At the end of the day,
the new dad enjoys one of
Little One's
books.

Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring. One of my favorite things in the whole wide world is to receive a Love Present . The definition of a Love Present is a gift that someone gives you for no special occasion, but just because. My sweet friend, Claudia, came by the other day with the cutest dishes. She had found them at an antiques store and she said they just looked like me. Don't they make a beautiful display in my kitchen bookshelves? Thank you, Claudia, for the dishes, but most of all for the thought behind the Love Present .
