Cherrio!

In our neck of the woods,
the cherries have been
both beautiful and delicious
this summer.
I didn't really know that I needed
a cherry pitter, but every time
Caleb ate one of my cherries
he asked, "Do you have a
cherry pitter?"

Of course, Bed Bath and Beyond
carries Cherry Pitters
along with every other
kitchen gadget known to man.

I'll have to admit, cherry pitters
are pretty handy devices.

I've only seen handhelds that do one cherry at a time - and I thought they were fun! Yours looks super fun. :-) I may need one. It takes a while to have cherries for four kids (or jam) when you go one at a time.

Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring. Anyone else sing that song as a child?
