Gold and Silver Friends

For some reason the song I learned in Brownies
came to my mind after our surprise visit the other day.
"Make new friends, but keep the old,
One is silver and the other gold."
Terry, Rhonda, Hannah and Zach Kirksey
made an unexpected detour through
Colorado Springs on their way to
Yellowstone, so they came by for a quick visit.
I have known Terry and Rhonda since
they were little children and Terry
and David worked together for many
years with real estate and air conditioning.
You've heard the expression that "It takes a village
to raise a child." Terry and Rhonda were part
of the village that raised our son Jeremy.

What a wonderful surprise! Everyone looks good. I am going to Yellowstone this summer with my cousin, but by way of Oregon so I won't be coming through Colorado (this time). The Pathfinders are always looking for someplace to go so be on the lookout.~donna

Swing High, Swing Low

Jeremy made me swings for under the deck and his boys are already enjoying them. This is Aaron's smile face. Caleb's smile face. Wee!  This is fun! Learning to hold on tight. Don't you just love his shoes? This boy loves Sesame Street characters as much as his brother loves super heroes.   Since Sweetie is here visiting, she got to enjoy the swings too.
