I LOVE Autumn

Being a Native Houstonian, I haven't experienced many "true" autumns except
the one year we went "leaf peeping" in the Northeast.
I am thoroughly enjoying the display of color this year.
These photos were taken from my front yard, looking up and down the street.

Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Love Present from a Friend

One of my favorite things in the whole wide world is to receive a Love Present . The definition of a Love Present is a gift that someone gives you for no special occasion, but just because. My sweet friend, Claudia, came by the other day with the cutest dishes. She had found them at an antiques store and she said they just looked like me. Don't they make a beautiful display in my kitchen bookshelves? Thank you, Claudia, for the dishes, but most of all for the thought behind the Love Present .
