Health Update--Ring That Bell

It is the custom at Penrose Hospital
where I had my radiation treatments
to ring the golden bell 3 times
when your treatments are complete.

Today was the GREAT day!
The nurses and radiation techs
who guided me through the past
28 days of radiation were
there cheering me on as
I rang the bell.

I am so thankful to God that both
my chemotherapy and radiation
treatments are completed.

What a wonderful way to celebrate
a very Merry Christmas.

Father God! I praise You and thank You for your faithfulness to my sweet new friend Karen. We thank You for answering our prayers for her and we continue to ask You Father, God to keep her cancer free. I thank You for her sweet spirit and the way she has showed us all what faith in the midst of the storm looks like. She has honored You and given You the glory on this journey. I thank You for the victory that we all claim in Your name for her. Please Father God, now bless her travels and give her safety as she celebrates her family wedding. Thank You Our Immanuel for giving us all confidence that You are ALWAYS with us and being our advocate in this prayer.

Love you Karen! Am doing the Jingle Bell Rock with you! Have a fabulous weekend at the wedding and a very blessed Christmas!!

The song, "For I Need a Little Christmas" rings in my head as I read your message this morning. God is faithful and merciful. Your life and the grace and dignity you show through this ordeal speaks of God's everlasting arms and love for those who call Him Lord. I am honored to share your journey and I send my "little Christmas" straight to your heart, my friend, "right this very minute". Love, Debra RT
