Give Away

Many of you who read this blog love Children's Literature as much as I do.
This week I am having my first ever Blog Give Away--a copy of my first book
This book uses popular titles in children's literature to teach such reading skills as:
Main Idea, Setting, Cause and Effect, Prediction, Inference, Drawing Conclusions, and more. It is appropriate for use in Grades 1-8 and for homeschooling parents.
If you would like a chance to win , please do the following:
  • Make a comment on this blog telling me your favorite children's book (this gives you one chance to win)
  • Add your name as a follower of this blog (this gives you another chance to win)
  • If you are already a "follower" and you have never attached your picture, attach the picture (this gives you another chance to win)
  • If you are a "follower" and your picture is already on my blog and you make a comment, you automatically have 2 chances to win.
The deadline for entering the contest is midnight, Friday, June 4th.
I will randomly select the winner and announce the name. The winner can then send me their address and I will mail them their own copy of Crash, Bang, Boom: Exploring Literary Devices through Children's Literature.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Immediate family members are probably not eligible to win and I do in fact already own a copy but my most recent favorite young adult book (because I just finished reading it) is The Pushcart War by Jean Merrill.

love you! Kel

I think that right now my favorite children's book is I love you through and through. It was both Amy and Emily's favorite when they were smaller and I can't wait until Katelyn gets big enough to really enjoy it.
(I already have a copy of your book too, but I think this would make a great gift for a teacher next year.) :-)

Uh...how did I NOT know you had a book out???? Do you have more than ONE out? I told you my favorite one before... 'Tale of Tails.' But, we discovered an awesome book while we were in MN, it is called 'Snowmen at night' by Caralyn Buehner. We discovered this one at the library & I had to order it from Amazon because we loved it so much! You will enjoy this in Colorado too!
My favorite book to read to my boys was We're Very Good Friends, my Brother and I. Now seeing them as adults, I love watching them as friends as well as brothers. For Jordan, we are loving Carl books these days. We make it up differently every time!
