Happy New Year Party
One of the joys of being a
Stay-At-Home Nana
(yes, I just coined that phrase)
is that I get to have parties with my
little guys for special occasions.
Getting ready the night before. |
Party hats are a must for a New Year's Party. |
Always ready to party. |
Another party animal. |
Macaroni died with food coloring for a craft. |
The little guys thought it was fun but their attention span was not that long. |
Caleb decided to "do his own thing." Can you say first born? I can say that because I am one. |
One of the exciting (non-planned) activities was throwing all the balloons down the stairwell. Can you find all three boys? They are all there. |
We made rainbow cookies. Yes, I often wear a super-hero cape when the boys are here. Caleb's idea. |
I must admit, raw dough was eaten during this project and no one got sick. Whew! |
Caleb really got into it. Of course, smart boy that he is, he informed me that I didn't have all the right colors for a rainbow. |
As you might be able to tell, tattoos were also among the non-planned activities. These were actually left over from Christmas 2011. |
The final project wasn't too bad at all. I was afraid the colors would fade during baking, but they didn't. |
Caleb and Aaron had an impromptu tea party at this little dolls table. Can you tell how small the table and chairs are? |
And one of the best parts of the day was that the mama's and daddy's got to hang out together. How blessed David and I are to have them all in the Springs! |
