California Thanksgiving

Image
This year David and I, along with the young Gibson family, spent our Thanksgiving break in sunny California. Aaron enjoyed meeting his 2nd Cousin Once Removed Christopher We flew in and the young Gibsons drove in on Sunday and we were up bright and early on Monday morning to visit Disneyland.  Some of you may know that David worked at Disneyland when he was a teenager and LOVES the place so it was fun going with Caleb and Aaron for their very FIRST visit. They were beside themselves with excitement. As we waited to get in, they could hardly contain themselves.  I heard Aaron say, "I can't believe it, I just can't believe it!"   We can't wait to get inside Mickey. The first ride was Star Tours . I wish I could have recorded this little man's giggles as he waited with excitement for the ride to begin. While "the big kids" were riding Star Tours, Aaron and Ducca (David) went on the Merry Go Round (twice), Alice in Wonderland ...

Happy Thanksgiving and Health Update

David and I have so much to be thankful for this year! From the beginning of April, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, our world was turned upside down. Even though, it has been a stressful 8 months, I can truly say that God has blessed us amazingly through it all. I apologize for not updating you on this blog earlier, but as I told a friend the other day, when I started feeling stronger, I started "going" again and that has slowed down blogging a little. I completed chemotherapy on October 5th, and after about 5 weeks started feeling stronger and more like myself. I began daily radiation treatments on Novembe...

Nephew Andrew The big cousins and Aunt Kim Nephew Jon and Aunt Kim Nephews Philip, Josh and Joseph playing football Nephews Joseph and Michael Niece Bethany Nephew Matthew and Great Nephew Andrew--before Andrew came along, Matthew was the youngest.
