I'm so happy to be a citizen of the greatest nation on earth.

I think this was the first time that Ducca "flew" Caleb
around in his super hero cape.
This is now the way that Caleb leaves our house every
single time. Ducca flies him out to the car.

I know it's hard to tell, but this is a ground view
of the HUGE hot air balloon of the
Everyready Bunny.
At last year's visit to the Houston Livestock Show,
Caleb borrowed Woody's hat.

One of my favorite things in the whole wide world is to receive a Love Present . The definition of a Love Present is a gift that someone gives you for no special occasion, but just because. My sweet friend, Claudia, came by the other day with the cutest dishes. She had found them at an antiques store and she said they just looked like me. I'm not sure if I should thank my friend Mindy for letting me know that Kohl's is featuring Skippyjon Jones items in their stores, or whether I should send her the bill for the items I purchased. I actually restrained myself (although all items purchased are not displayed in the picture.) There are many more Skippy Jon Jones items at your local Kohl's. Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring. Anyone else sing that song as a child?
