Leaf Peeping--Colorado Aspens

It was a beautiful Saturday, so we decided
to join all of the other "leaf peepers" enjoying
the colorful Colorado Aspen trees.



I wish I could find a way to
post the smells and the quaking sounds.
Pictures just don't do God's amazing
creation justice.  

The sky was a brilliant blue.



The mountains add a gorgeous backdrop.  

These horses
seem to be enjoying the sights as well.

Beautiful! Wish I was there. I love Fall. Too bad we don't get one here.I am going to Arkansas in a couple of weeks. I hope to see fall leaves then.

Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring.
