Prayer for Skippyjon Jones

This is David!
Or little David as we sometimes
call him to differentiate him from
his grandfather.

David has alway loved to read!
I am so fortunate that all my grandchildren
love reading.  They have parents that
show them how much fun reading
can be.

Kelly called to report today that
before nap she read a book about Skippyjon Jones
to David who is also learning to pray.

In his prayer before naptime he said,
"Dear God, Please help Skippyjon Jones."

For my librarian and teacher friends who are
familiar with this delightful character,
you can understand completely.
For those of you who don't know
what I'm talking about, visit
your local library or book store
and enjoy
an adorable picture book.

Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, With your coats so blue Your bright eyes are shining In the morning dew. They say you're a dolly Offered for the rain And Texas wears blue Bluebonnets in the Spring. Laundry Dilemma

OK, all of my friends in Blogland, I have a problem and those closest to me are getting tired of me showing them my laundry dilemma and of me trying to get them to help me figure it out so I am sharing my problem with you in hopes that some BRILLIANT person can help me. Several, and I mean several of my shirts are getting holes in them. I hope you can see from the pictures below--I have put a red cloth behind the holes in hopes that they would show up better. They start out with tiny little pinprick holes and then they "grow". They are always right about waist level. I have been working on this puzzle for a several weeks because I don't want to have to replace all my clothing every few weeks (although there is a Stein Mart in Colorado Springs.) See the solutions that have been ruled out. not one of my bracelets puncturing the cloth no, I'm not wearing a belt that is puncturing the cloth it does not seem to be something that I am leaning up against the seatbelt ...
