Amazing Sight

There is the distinct possibility that you might get tired of my "Snow" posts. But please indulge me at least for this first snow season. I am like a kid in a candy store and every new sight amazes me. The pictures below are of the snow formation in one of our basement window wells. It looks like a giant Marshmallow landed on the top of the window well and just decided to sit there. Reminds me a little of Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, a great children's book which has been made into a movie.
I have been trying to hang out downstairs some today as the sun melts the snow hoping that there would be a giant crash as the snow avalanches to the ground. Instead, there seems to be a steady drip, drip, drip....



The Raggedy Anns and Andys (some of which were handmade by my Grandma Bergeron) usually sit up, but they are a little tired from watching the snow fall outside their window.

That is awesome...it does look like a giant marshmallow...let the s'mores begin. The cloudy with a chance of meatballs was a great movie. A long time family friend of my parents was actually in charge of all the animation for that movie. I look forward to all your snow posts...I love snow..something just absolutely amazing about it.

As another Houstonian living just a little bit further north, I never tire of winter. I am looking forward to all of your stories and wonder over a "real" winter. Here in Tulsa we get just a touch of real winter every year. I have often wondered what a Colorado winter would be like. Would I love it as much as I think I would? I hope that every snow fall brings you as much enjoyment this winter, as this one has.

Texas Bluebonnets and Spring are synonymous! What a beautiful display of God's beauty! My friend, Lea, gave me a beautiful silver bluebonnet charm created by James Avery . You can see it by clicking the link above. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my roots. I still remember the Bluebonnet Song that I learned in elementary school. Love Present from a Friend

One of my favorite things in the whole wide world is to receive a Love Present . The definition of a Love Present is a gift that someone gives you for no special occasion, but just because. My sweet friend, Claudia, came by the other day with the cutest dishes. She had found them at an antiques store and she said they just looked like me.
