Caleb Goes to Houston

Image
Every time I make a trip to Houston, Caleb asks to go along. This summer he got his wish. Checking in at DIA. Watching for our airplane to arrive. Exploring the airport with Ducca. He was a super traveller and so much fun to have on the trip. The main reason for the trip was to meet Caleb's newest 2nd cousins, Nick and Alex. He had lots of fun with his VanLoenen 2nd cousins. And hanging out with almost grown up 2nd cousins was fun too.   Reading a book about Hurricane Katrina on Nana's iPad before bedtime. He got to borrow some of Matthew's cool blocks. All dressed up--what a big boy! He took Sweetie and me on a date! We had a ball! He specifically packed his dress coat for this date. Nana Summer Day Camp #4--Fox Run Park

Image
Summer is quickly coming to a close, and that always makes me a little sad. Nana Camp went to Fox Run Park on this  beautiful August afternoon. Caleb on the teeter-totter. Sliding is fun! And Caleb loves the swings too! I think we might have to extend Nana Day Camp into the fall & winter!

Spent a morning at the Chihuly Exhibit at the Denver Botanical Garden. Great Aunts and Uncles got to spend time with their Great Nieces and Nephews. PRICELESS Went to the "world" famous Freddy's Hamburger Restaurant.  This is a CS tradition.  Somehow this is the only picture I got of Uncle Lynn. Spent some time hiking. Visited beautiful Helen Hunt Falls. And contrary to popular opinion, the actress Helen Hunt did not Fall during our trip there. David and I brought out the Family r...
